Item Description:

Commemorative $1 Coin: The set prominently features a unique, non-circulating legal tender $1 coin visible through the green cover flap. The reverse side, designed by Margaret Priest, depicts a dynamic female javelin thrower.Historical Significance: This collection marks the first annual mint set issued after Australia ceased the production of 1-cent and 2-cent pieces, making it a transitional six-coin collection containing the 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, and $2 coins.
