This 50 cent piece was Created in collaboration with the Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation, the reverse depicts a gathering of Gurindji people walking, Vincent Lingiari’s unifying quote, the word "UNITY," and a scene of Prime Minister Gough Whitlam pouring soil into Lingiari's hand from the 1975 land hand-back at Daguragu. The obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Daniel Thorne.
