Notes about condition:
All coins are uncirculated with varying degrees of toning. Each coin is unique and of the four coins, two are more noticeably toned and appealing.
Two are more tones on the obverse and two on the reverse. Each has minor imperfections, but all are very lustrous and do not have any major signs of wear on high points or in the open fields.
All are excellent condition compared to average circulated examples of the same year even though some minor evidence of substandard handling/storage is apparent upon close inspection.
They may have been enders, but this is unlikely because I removed all that I believed were from this batch of ex RAM roll coins that I received loose. Therefore, I believe the toning has occurred naturally and not caused by deliberate means. However, I have only been in position of these since 2024 at the earliest and cannot say for sure.
I have pulled similar vintage coins from circulation that have similar toning due to similar conditions, be they unnatural or otherwise. I've also seen coins that appear to have been subjected to intense heat and these do not reflect the same as the condition of such coins.
These would make excellent additions to a collection of toned coins, and will likely become more visually appealing over time in the right conditions.
