Snake Design
One side depicts a large coiled rattlesnake raising its head in a defensive pose, with its mouth open, fangs exposed and tongue extended.
Turquoise and copper-coloured ornamental bands encircle the snake’s body. Saguaro cacti, agave plants, rocky terrain and distant desert mountains appear beneath a dramatic orange and golden sky.
Winged Figure Design
The opposite side depicts the same serpent confronting a classical winged female figure standing on an ornate pedestal.
A radiant circular sun emblem appears behind the figure, surrounded by an orange desert sky, mountains, cacti and detailed native vegetation. The serpent carries Aztec-inspired ornamental bands around its body.
