2017 $2 Lest We Forget Mosaic C Mintmark PNC Mintage 9,000

This beautiful commemorative PNC with coloured $2 coin was released by the Royal Australian Mint, in collaboration with Australia Post, in 2017.

It features the iconic dome of the Australian War Memorial, which houses a unique space for quiet contemplation. Situated above the Tome of the Unknown Australian Soldier, the dome is an intricate mosaic depicting the afterlife. The mosaic also shows many iconic Australian symbols, including wattle and black swans. The mosaic was created by artist Napier Waller, who lost an arm serving in WW1.

Key features:
• Postmarked "Centenary of WW1 1917"
• 'C' for Canberra mintmark
• Mintage of 9,000
• Australian $2 legal tender
• Uncirculated (UNC)
