aUNC 2022 $2 Socceroos 100 Year Centenary Australian two Dollar Coloured Coin
This circulating commemorative coloured $2 coin commemorates the Centenary (100th anniversary) of the Socceroos, the renowned Australia men's national soccer team. Established in 1922 for a tour of New Zealand, the Socceroos are officially recognized by the governing body for soccer in Australia, Football Australia, and are affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the regional ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
The reverse design at the center of the coin features a stylized football, encircled by a net pattern symbolizing a football. Above the central motif, green swirls reminiscent of the action on the field add dynamism to the design.
